Free-expression drawing
Draw what music or a feeling looks like: lines, colors and shapes, no pictures.
You need
- large sheets of paper
- crayons, pastels or felt-tips
- a phone or speaker for music
Steps
- Tape a large sheet of paper to the table for each child.
- Play a piece of music, calm or fast.
- Ask them to draw the music with lines and colors while it plays.
- Switch to a very different track after two minutes.
- Ask each child what their drawing feels like.
