Picnic
A proper meal on a blanket in the park, with games on the grass after.
You need
- a blanket
- sandwiches and fruit
- water bottles
- a cool bag
- a bag for rubbish
Steps
- Make the sandwiches with the children.
- Pack the food, water and blanket into one bag.
- Pick a shady spot in the park and spread out the blanket.
- After eating, play on the grass: tag, ball or cloud spotting.
- Pick up every bit of rubbish before you leave.
Bring hats and sunscreen, and keep meat, eggs and dairy in a cool bag.
