Rainy-day craft
Make a paper rain cloud with hanging raindrops to put up by the window.
You need
- white and blue paper
- child-safe scissors
- tape or a glue stick
- string or wool
- a pencil
Steps
- Draw a big cloud on the white paper and cut it out.
- Draw about eight raindrops on the blue paper.
- Let the children cut out the raindrops.
- Tape each raindrop to a piece of string, each string a different length.
- Tape the strings along the bottom of the cloud and hang it by the window.
Use round-tipped scissors and stay close while under-sixes cut.
