Watching the rain from the porch
Sit somewhere dry outside and watch, listen to and count the rain.
Steps
- Sit together under the porch or in an open doorway.
- Close your eyes and listen for one minute.
- Name every sound you heard: drips, gutters, cars.
- Pick two drops on the railing and cheer for the one you think falls first.
- Hold out a hand and count the drops that land in ten seconds.
