Snowlan has no account, no cloud and no ads. This page says exactly what that means — in plain words.

What we store
Your children’s age ranges, your home type, your custom activities, your plans, the filters and situation you last set, and your play history, favourites and hidden ideas. All of it is stored on your phone. We never see it.
What we don’t collect
The app asks for no name, no location, no contacts, no photos and no advertising identifier, and for no email unless you choose to add one to a feedback message (below). “Where you are” is a choice you tap (home, outside…), never your position. There is nothing to sign up for. (The launch waitlist on this website is the other exception, and it is described below.)
No analytics
Snowlan includes no analytics tool and sends no usage data. There is nothing to switch off, because there is nothing being sent.
This website
snowlan.app counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, does not fingerprint you and does not follow you to other sites. It tells us how many people read a page, never who. The app itself sends no usage data.
Purchases
Premium is a one-time purchase through the App Store, handled by RevenueCat; it is not on sale on Google Play yet. The RevenueCat library runs on every phone, whether or not you buy: at launch it sends RevenueCat an anonymous identifier created on your device — never a name or an email — and gets back your purchase status. That is how Premium stays unlocked, including offline, and it is why the app declares “purchase history” in the App Store and Google Play privacy sections. While Premium is active, the app also sends that identifier to our own content server about once a day when you open it or return to it, right after a purchase or an app update, and — if a check fails — again on a later open, no sooner than 15 minutes after, or at once if you tap Try again. It checks for new ideas and downloads them. When you open a “Show me” demo that isn’t saved on the phone yet, the app downloads it from the same server with that identifier and then keeps it on the phone. We never see your payment details. Feedback
Only if you choose to send feedback from Settings: your message, the email address you optionally give, and four details — the app version, your phone’s system and its version, the app’s language, and whether Premium is unlocked — are emailed to us through Cloudflare. We attach nothing else — no plans or history — so please leave your children’s names out of your message. Our server keeps none of it; the email stays in our mailbox until we have dealt with it, and at most 12 months, and we delete it sooner if you ask at [email protected]. Your family’s data — children, plans, history — never leaves your phone; apart from feedback, the app sends only what “Purchases” describes: the purchase check and, while Premium is active, its requests to our content server. Reminders are notifications your phone schedules for itself.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and your data goes with it. Or use “Reset all data” in Settings to wipe everything while keeping the app.
Your phone’s backup
If iCloud backup or Android backup is switched on, your phone may include Snowlan’s data in that backup like any other app’s, so it comes back on a new phone. That backup is Apple’s or Google’s, under their terms; we have no access to it. Switch it off in your phone’s settings if you would rather it did not include Snowlan.
Children
Snowlan is made for parents and listed under Lifestyle on the App Store and Parenting on Google Play, not Kids. It is not designed to be used by children. It has no accounts. The app sends only what “Purchases” and “Feedback” describe above: an anonymous purchase check, Premium content requests, and a message when a parent chooses to send one.
The launch waitlist
Before launch, you could leave your address on the home page. It is stored in our own database on Cloudflare and used for exactly one message: telling you Snowlan is out. Nothing is stored beside it — no name, no IP address, no tracking — and it is never shared with anyone. The form is closed now; once that email has gone out, the list is deleted. Write to [email protected] to be taken off it sooner.
